How it works
From your cameras to one console.
Your cameras and recorders stay where they are. Talos vms sits on a server at your site and brings them together.
A short animation of the system, playing on a loop. Click the video to pause or play. Schematic illustration, not a product screenshot.
Video description
No narration or sound. Five steps: your cameras and recorders stay where they are and connect to Talos vms; Talos vms runs on a server at your site; analytics read the frames and mark people, enrolled faces and missing protective equipment; operators watch live, scrub to a moment and save a clip in one console; and evidence is kept in a printable report. It ends on the Talos vms logo.
01 · The system
Four parts, one site.
Cameras and recorders feed a Talos server on site. The server runs the analytics and serves a browser console to your operators.
- Cameras and recordersStay exactly where they are. Talos reads from them.
- Talos serverRuns on a machine at your site. Brings video together and runs analytics.
- OperatorsUse the console from a browser on the site network.
- ReportsEvidence images and printable reports, kept on the server.
Good to know
- Analytics are designed to run on site. Confirm the installer and your hardware on a test machine before rollout.
What you need
What you need on site.
Three things. Most sites already have two of them.
- A server at your siteTalos and its analytics run here. Size depends on how many cameras and which analytics you use.
- Access to your camerasThe server needs to reach your cameras and recorders over the site network. Most sites already have this
- A browser for operatorsThe console opens in a web browser on the site network. Nothing to install on each desk. Most sites already have this

Your data
Video and enrolled faces stay on your server.
Talos is designed to run at your site. What it records, detects and saves is processed and stored there, and you decide who can see it. The privacy policy explains who is responsible for that data.

Talos team

- Video and detectionsAnalytics read the frames on your server and draw their results over live video there.
- Enrolled facesFaces you enrol are stored on your server, not by us. Enrol only people who have agreed.
- Evidence and reportsSaved images and printable reports are kept on the server at your site.
You stay in control
- Who can see whatRoles and permissions decide who can watch, review and control cameras in the console.
- What you keep, and for how longYou decide what is recorded and why, and you can delete evidence when you no longer need it.
- What you share with usNothing, unless you choose to. If you want us to look at a clip, you send it.
Where video, faces and personal data are involved, you are normally the party responsible under data-protection law. Check the rules that apply to you, such as Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
