Privacy policy
What this website collects, what it does not, and who is responsible for video data in the product.
1. Who we are
This website describes TALOS-VMS, a video management system. It is operated by PT. Juanto Mandiri Pratama, a company based in Bogor, Indonesia ("we", "us"), through talos.id. This policy explains what this website does and does not collect, and how personal data is handled around the product.
2. What this website collects
- Nothing you submit. This site has no forms, accounts, comments or sign-ups.
- No cookies and no tracking. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no advertising or social-media scripts. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
- Server logs. Like any web server, the hosting service may record technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
If we add analytics or any other tracking later, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
3. Requesting a demo or contacting us
The "Request a demo" and "Contact us" links take you to talos.id. Anything you send there, such as your name, company, email address, phone number or details of your cameras, is used to reply to you and to prepare a demo. We do not sell it. The notice on that site applies to what you submit there.
4. The Talos vms product and video data
Talos vms is installed and operated by you, on your own network. It is designed so that video, detections, enrolled faces and evidence images are processed and stored on a server at your site, not by us.
- You decide what is recorded and why. For the video and personal data your system handles, you are normally the party responsible under data-protection law. We only see such data if you choose to share it with us, for example a clip for a test or a support request.
- Face recognition uses biometric data. Faces are matched only against people you enrol. Many places require a lawful basis, a clear notice, and often consent before you enrol or recognise people. Check the rules that apply to you, such as Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), before using it.
- Signs, access and retention are your decisions. Tell people where cameras operate, limit who can see recordings with the role settings, and delete evidence when you no longer need it.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us run this website or respond to you, such as hosting and email providers, and with authorities where the law requires.
6. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to a data-protection authority. To make a request, contact us through talos.id. If your request is about video from a site that runs Talos vms, the operator of that site is the right party to contact.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
